Sony Entertainment Network has just launched their new television streaming service, Playstation Vue for Playstation 3 and 4. This service is currently only available in Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York City. Playstation Vue has three price packages starting at $49.99 per month while the most expensive package starts at $69.99 per month.
The service provides more than 85 channels hand picked for the 18-34 age demographic. A subscription can be used on three different devices. The service will also be coming to iPad on an undetermined date. The service allows recording of programs and keeps those recordings for up to 28 days. If you miss a program and forgot to record it, Vue allows you to re-watch programs from up to three days prior. One last thing, Vue has movies! The movie selection will be based off of what is played on the channels being provided, so Vue will more than likely not be an attempt to compete with Netflix.
