This is an article in which I will discuss games, tech, or just about anything that you, the general public, are looking forward to! So let’s just get down to business shall we? This week’s topic of conversation is none other than the long awaited IGN game of the year 2014! That’s right, “Goat Simulator“!
Now, I know you’re all probably wondering what “Goat Simulator” is and what it’s all about, so allow me to give you a little info on this fantastic looking game right here. “Goat Simulator” is exactly as it sounds to be, a game where you run around as none other than a goat! Traveling the world, ragdolling across cityscapes, and even glitching on ladders and other objects! There is a fantastic trailer for this game that you can view right here. That shows some of this games amazing ragdoll and motor mechanics. You can even stick objects with your tongue and carry them around!
Now “Goat Simulator” also has full steam workshop support, so if you do decide to purchase this gem of a game you can also get some pretty cool stuff with it. Whether it be new goats, new ragdoll effects, or even some different point boosters for breaking different objects. Steam workshop will also provide “Goat Simulator” players with additional levels and etc. made by your fellow “Goat Simulator” goat buddies!
This game is made by a small company called Coffee Stain Studios. This game only costs 9.99$ and it is available as a steam code for Windows only. You can purchase the game yourself on their website right here. It released today, on April 1st! So go join your goat brethren and enjoy the many glitches and bugs that this game has to offer! (That they left on purpose due to the laughs)
There have been quite a few simulator games prior to “Goat Simulator“, ranging from “Farmer Simulator” to “Train Simulator“. But there just isn’t quite an experience like running around and living the life of the King of All Goats. You can also use a secret summoning circle hidden in the game to summon a demon that gives you powers that allow you to move objects and people around with your mind. These are just some of the many hidden and secret easter eggs you’ll find throughout the game. Make sure to look around and see what you can find in this crazy sandbox goat adventure!
There are also quite a few little quests and collectibles you can find and/or complete during your adventures. Ranging from getting tons of airtime to hitting the highest of scores on your point meter! The collectibles are small little golden goat statues hidden all around the goat world. So be sure to be ready to go looking around for them! There is also a jet-pack you can object to get to some of the higher heights in the game, so go out there and get your goat on!
If I was you guys, I’d head out and start to see about picking myself up a copy as soon as possible! I am definitely going to go and get mine soon enough. This game is going to be the next greatest game to ever hit the videogame industry. I have no doubts you’re going to see news articles and video clips of goats rampaging and rioting soon enough!
