I was scrolling through twitter this morning when I noticed out of the corner of my eye that the Nintendo Switch Pro was trending. Naturally my curiosity got the better of me and I looked into it, fully expecting the typical rumor mill that I’ve been more or less ignoring for the past 3 years.

The ever-elusive, much discussed, New Nintendo Switch Pro

Well, there was a listing on Amazon Mexico for the “New Nintendo Switch Pro” about 4 hours ago.

… with E3 right around the corner (hard to believe, I know), I have no idea what to expect, y’all.

I’m not looking forward to another console shortage. They can’t even get the Switch stock figured out.

Nintendeal made a followup tweet, where they show off the serial numbers for the product, and how they match up with serial numbers for other placeholders such as Pokemon Legends Arceus or Mario Kart Live.

In addition to this, however there is another listing for simply “New Nintendo Switch”, followed by a tweet stating they found 4 [product listings], 2 named “New Nintendo Switch Pro”, the other 2 just named “New Nintendo Switch.

Recent rumors support these listings

It stands to mention that all of this is coming on the heels of Bloomberg reporting that Nintendo plans to upgrade the Switch as soon as September.

Bonus Tweet:

Emily Rogers is well known for having accurate sources with leaks. This is just a fun tweet and not a confirmation of anything, but the very act of her posting that emoji definitely caused a stir.

So. For a rumor mill I’ve largely been avoiding until now, I just saw it trending on Twitter and wanted to share. I’ve recently upgraded my entire entertainment system and personally would love to see a more powerful Switch hit the scene, and this could be the first sign that Nintendo is really going through with an upgrade.
