It’s no secret that artist Claudio Sanchez has made great strides on so many fronts of entertainment. From being the front man of rock band “Coheed and Cambria“, to being the writer of the band’s concept series “The Amory Wars“. You read that right, the band’s music is based around the comic series written by Sanchez! The series also has a movie adaptation in the works. Sanchez just released the final issue of “Translucid“, a deep story about the relationship between a superhero known as The Navigator and his arch-nemesis The Horse, with a classic Sanchez cliffhanger at the end of each issue.

The band just kicked off a Neverender tour celebrating the popular album “In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3“, which contains quite a few popular songs like “Blood Red Summer” and “A Favor House Atlantic“, to name a few. To the fans, a chance to see all the songs from the album performed in order is a true gift from Heaven’s Fence.

Yahoo Screen provided a chance for the people at home to attend the show in Dallas last night. The band performed all 12 songs from the album, then performed 6 extra songs as a long running double-encore. The songs included “Neverender“, “Goodnight Fair Lady“, “Number City“, “The Lying Lies and Dirty Secrets of Miss Erica Court“, “Ten Speed“, and “Welcome Home“.

My opinions and personal comments:
The show was top form and by far the best I have ever seen them. This band is truly at their best and did the old songs justice. There’s no running away from what’s been done here, the Silent Earth isn’t silent anymore, it rings and rumbles with the sound of a band that has reached an all time high and deserves all the praise in the world. I’m quite excited to see them perform in Atlanta this October! Highlights of the night include a fan screaming “Travis is a badass!” with which I reply “Indeed he is!”
