Many Nintendo fans have been waiting for the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and Nintendo proves once again that they really know how to milk the hype. Nintendo just announced a new bundle for the game release. The bundle includes a custom 2DS in a transparent Red and Blue color scheme to match the game that comes with it. The handhelds come with the game pre-installed, so a physical copy will not be included. This new scheme adds to the vast collection of customized handhelds ranging from Mario, Monster Hunter, The Legend of Zelda, and Fire Emblem to name a few. Oh, but wait! These awesome variants are only available in Europe.
Nintendo recently announced a “New Nintendo 3DS.” This revamped model will come with more buttons and Amiibo compatibility. This handheld, like the current 3DS, comes in two sizes, Standard and XL. Also, these handhelds are more customizable as they have interchangeable “Cover Plates.” The new handheld will be released in Australia on November 21, 2014 and Europe and US in 2015.
