DuckDuckGo released a new interface this past Wednesday for its search engine. DuckDuckGo is a search engine that keeps all of your data private. It doesn’t use trackers or sell your information like Google or Bing does. After the event of Edward Snowden, the engine got a huge increase in traffic. I even use it as my primary search engine. The problem was, you were substituting convenience for security and privacy. But no more! Now DuckDuckGo has a beautiful Google-like search engine! It can now return images, definitions, videos, local places, and small excerpts of biographical information all on an “image-driven carousel” at the top.
