Hiya everyone, Noreen here. This week’s Top 5 is going to be on the Top 5 Legend of Zelda Games. DISCLAIMER: Please note this list is purely based on my opinion, and does not represent the opinions of anyone else on UzerFriendly.
Number Five: “The Minish Cap”
I think I love this game just because of Ezlo, the hat. It’s one of the more forgotten Zelda games but definitely a fun one. Ezlo is most likely the main reason “Minish Cap” makes the list. Ezlo is sarcastic, treats Link like a child but you can tell Ezlo really likes Link. Its a super cute touch. The graphics are absolutely cute, especially when you shrink to the size of a Picori. Seeing the Zelda world when you’re the size of an ladybug is just a refreshing and lovely experience. “The Minish Cap” may not be on many peoples favorite list, but it is most definitely worth a try. You can buy it here.
Number Four: “Ocarina of Time”
Are you surprised it’s so early on the list? Yes I know Zelda fanboys love themselves some “Ocarina of Time” but it’s just not that great. Yes, it’s an amazing game but it doesn’t make me want to adventure as much as the rest of these games do. Also, I think I have to deduct points for Navi. I mean sure, she’s helpful, but my God, she never shuts up. Anyways, overall “Ocarina of Time” is a amazing game, but just can’t top my list. You can buy it here.
Number Three: “Wind Waker”
Oh, “Wind Waker”, how the masses hated you at the start. Now you are everyone’s favorite. That must say something. Cell shaded graphics, an original plot yet still stays true to Zelda games. It makes me want to go on a adventure. There’s a huge over world with so many places to go. It just screams “Come explore me”. “Wind Waker” took a while to be loved but now a days, it’s appreciated for how good it really is. You can buy it here.
Number Two: “Skyward Sword”
The first game on the timeline. I didn’t really like this game when it first came out, but after playing it a bit more it came to grow on me. The art style in absolutely lovely, the music was extremely amazing, and I really liked how I actually wanted to save Zelda this time. Zelda, in this game, actually meant something to me. Sure, motions controls aren’t the best thing ever made but even so, “Skyward Sword” is an amazingly beautiful game. Just not the best. You can buy it here.
Number One: “Majora’s Mask”
No, I didn’t put it so early on the list because of Ben Drowned or anything else creepypasta. Being the first Zelda game I ever played, it has a lot of nostalgia, but it’s more than just that. I love how it’s so dark without really trying. How the hollow looking tree that is just sitting there is the son of the Deku Butler. Just every single thing in this game interests me. The music, the story, the characters. “Majora’s Mask” definitely is the number one Legend of Zelda game. You can buy it here.
