Well that does it, we’ve hit the darkest timeline. NBC has closed the books on it’s fan favorite show, “Community”.

Even though the fanbase of the show is evident, the show wasn’t receiving the mass ratings that broadcast networks feed off of. The show has received most of its popularity through digital, social network outlets like Twitter and Facebook. Hulu has the rights to show reruns of the show, so we might get our 6th season digital only.
Once again, a great show has been cancelled due to money hungry CEOs. This is just another nail in the coffin for the death of cable TV. I can’t count the reasons I should stay with cable. One by one, they all just fade away. If Hulu or Netflix picks up this show, it would drive sales for their subscription service way up and convince me to just drop cable altogether.
What do you guys think? Personally, I’m in tears. But hey, we might get another season on Hulu or Netflix only. Tell us what you think in the comments!
